YOKOGAWA BARD-400A Safety Barrier Advanced Protection for Industrial Automation
The YOKOGAWA BARD-400A Safety Barrier is designed for hazardous area applications, offering galvanic isolation with a maximum working voltage of 250V and a current rating of 22mA. It supports a wide temperature range from -20°C to +60°C. Typical applications include protecting field devices in oil & gas, chemical, and pharmaceutical industries. Compared to the YOKOGAWA SAI143-S53, the BARD-400A provides higher isolation but is less versatile in terms of input types. It is also more compact than the SCP401 Processor Module, making it suitable for space-constrained environments.
